Why can't I get HTML Email?

The 8800 along with all other Blackberry devices do not support HTML email. There are many reasons for this, html email is bloated and offers an increased security risk.

There are two new products in 2007 which offer a version of HTML email: BlackBerrySmart Email and Empower Email.
